Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after graduation from dental school. Dr. Balacky, as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth, and facial regions.
Our staff is trained in assisting with Intravenous (IV) sedation and outpatient general anesthesia in our state-of-the-art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. Dr. Balacky has trained in a full-scope of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery but focuses his practice on the management of dentoalveolar surgeries such as surgical dental extractions, bone grafting, dental implant surgery and office-based anesthesia.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at VIP Oral Surgery are experienced, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who are certified in Basic Life Support and are SPECIFICALLY TRAINED TO assist in the administration of IV ANESTHESIA and surgery.
